Eve with eve online isk was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Julia Wilcher-Jeffers, a publishing company supervisor, and Terry Jeffers, a chemical plant supervisor. He adopted the name Gangsta in high school as part of a women's group called DGP (pronounced Egypt), and went solo as Eve of Destruction.
During his early years in Philadelphia, Eve first musical interest was singing. She sang in many choirs and even made an all-female singing group (Dope Girl Posse or DGP) with a manager. This group covered songs from En Vogue and Color Me Badd. After the group's manager saw the rap group ABC, they suggested that the group raps and Eve stuck with it. Then he joined a rap group. After the group split, Eve began working on a solo career under the name "Eve of Destruction." She spent most of his days perfecting his art, much to the detriment of their education. She stopped attending class and barely graduated from high school. After his mother remarried, Eve moved to New York and began working as a dancer at a strip club Bronx. It was like a stripper that Eve met rapper Mase. Mase encouraged her to stop stripping and start rapping professionally. Then, later in his life, this was discovered by a person who remains anonymous, threatening to reveal the pictures if you do not get what they wanted. The pictures were taken to the tabloids and revealed for the world to see, but that did not stop Eve.
Eve appears (along with Erykah Badu) in the song "You Got Me" by The Roots, their 1999 album Things Fall Apart. He also sang backing vocals on the song "Saying Nothing New" from the same album. In album notes, it is known as Eve of Destruction.
